Just wondering if there has ever been any talk of an IDPA 3-Gun match in Clear Creek. I'm aware that there is a rifle side match next month (I'll be there) but I'm talking about a full out 3-Gun match with combined scores. I'd like to see practical stages and the use of multiple weapon systems in a single stage with transitions. The 3-Gun matches I've shot in before are very IPSC driven with very high round count, no cover requirement, long ranges and only one gun per stage... I've decided that's really not my thing. So I was hoping for another option.
Just a thought.

Come check out the 3-gun/multi-gun match in lake George this Saturday. It sounds like more of what you are looking for. Send me an e mail at. 55fmj@comcast.net. If you are interested an I will send you some info. It is a fun time.

That does not sound like any of the 3-gun matches around here...
As far as the long range part, I think people should be able to shoot a rifle like a rifle. Thats why Pueblo Tactical Rifle has shots from 3 yards to 425 yards.
I go to matches to enjoy myself and hang out with friends. If I want training, I go to a class.
