I started this thread recently, and it was lost in the crash. I was asking if Bonfils sells blood. The answer from members here was "yes."
Of course I knew they did, and I was inquiring if you could write off blood donations for your taxes. Well, I came across this RadioLab that confirms my suspicions. $300 per pint!
As per usual with Radio Lab, this entire program is interesting, but if you're only interested in the "Red Market," then that starts at the 45:00 mark. You have to let it load for a minute or so before you can fast forward that far. Enjoy.
