View Full Version : Hypocrisy: it's for the good of the people!

ZERO THEORY

I'm not sure which hypocritical, poorly-articulated, illogical, and/or entitled "point" I should touch on first, so I'll just forgo my various rants. Watch at your own risk: those with high blood pressure, weak hearts, or a history of dizziness should stay away.

Wow, if these are college students, just how STUPID were they before their 'education'?

There comes a point when someone needs to pry these people from the protected pouch of their Very Special Institution and just throw them into society to see how they make it.

There's a reason they refer to Berkeley as "10 square miles surrounded by reality"

That was just painful. I wish there were subtitles, but I do not think that would even help.

Shouldn't they all be at a kegger, doing jello shots or something?

So...uber-liberal UC Berkeley is a racist institution? These "young adults" have an extremely difficult and unsettling future ahead of them.
I have a feeling the hard reality of real life is going to absolutely slap the shit out of some of these young "idealists".

Indoctrinated in the finest public schools our tax money is wasted on.

There is a very good reason the federal government is in control of the education for the nations children, stupid people are easier to control.

Berkeley is no longer "10 square miles surrounded by reality" because the closest dose of reality looks to me to be at least 50 miles away (and I'd argue it's more like 150 miles away as I think you have to get east of the Sierra Nevadas to find any reality).

This is a textbook example of Cognitive Dissonance (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cognitive_dissonance). Or "I don't think that means what they think it means..."

Chanting "UC Berkely. Shut it down". God I hope UCB gets shut down.
