Bower's
Bowers had (has?) one.
Not for sale but I think you can drool on it.
I Think The Bullseye has one in Aurora. $499. He posted on Facebook earlier.
I finger fucked one at Damage Factory today

Yup, was there today. Sure looks pretty sweet, but there's is not for sale. Besides I just turned a $400 Shield into a $700 Shield, so I'll be passing on the G43.

Is the 43 smaller than the shield?

I thought they were being introduced at a higher than retail price. $499 is a good price for a Glock high in demand.

I found this helpful.

Heh, I was there today too. I wanted to fondle it, mainly the trigger. I was curious to see if it's more like the 42 or every other Glock. Thankfully it's the standard Glock trigger. If I was in the market for a 9mm that'd be my first choice but as it sits I'll probably just get the 9mm conversion barrel for my 27 when and if I get the itch.

The glock 43 vs XDs might sway me, if the XDs wasn't also available in .45 for no added bulk.

Meh. Fondle one too. Thicker than my Walther PPS... I'll pass.

Ark had one last week I believe. May want to call to see if they still do.
USA Liberty Arms in Fort Collins has received about five. I was on the waiting list and picked mine up on Sunday.

To be perfectly honest, I didn't handle the 43. I figured with as much coin as I dumped in the shield, I probably shouldn't tempt myself lol.
Just looking at them both from in the case, the grip length on the shield seemed to be the only thing that was larger in comparison (the pic posted seems to agree). I seem to remember reading somewhere that the G43 was a bit wider as well, I'll have to look at specs.
Sorry for the slight derail, I know that Glock fans aren't gonna be swayed. If your interested in a slim 9, the Walther PPS is a great option. I love mine and they eat everything. I recently picked up some Trij HD's for it. May be worth checking out. Sorry for the derail. Glocks are good guns.

I looked real close at these, and if it wasn't for already having an M&P with the apex trigger, a may have jumped on the Walther. Having two guns with identical triggers swayed me tho.

I'm in the market to buy the first used one from a COAR member. I suspect just like the Shield, everyone will have to have one and then they'll start getting dumped about 4 months from now.

That's what I'm hoping for also. Plus I don't have any money to buy one now

What is your initial impression? Have you shot it?

I'm hoping there's a huge rush of people selling their G26/27s at bargain prices (although I agree once people figure out it's nothing more than a G26 that's only .16" thinner but 4 rounds lighter they'll start dumping them and wanting their G26s back).
I've said it before. I don't like the 42 shooting 380 out of it, I don't see the 43 feeling any better at all

Total round count of 24 rounds of Federal factory 124 fmj. Very accurate, heavy but crisp trigger. It has more perceived recoil then my Kahr PM9. I like the size but for my taste the gun needs more texturing. I will be adding Ameriglo CAP sights and a Ghost connector. I plan on shooting it every week until I qualify with in in the fall for my HR218. Obviously, this is only my opinion.

Tried one today at Centennial Gun Club-they have one on the rental side. I'm not a Glock fan boy, this actually felt the best to me compared to all the other Glock models but I still prefer the fit of the Shield in my hand, no reason for me to switch.

Those who have not held it should know that this is a small gun. It comes with pinky extensions on both mags, and even then my pinky has nowhere to go but underneath the mag. I hate that.

Thought about it and after watching the Hickok review video I will keep my G42. I like the small frame and carries nice and light.

Not a Glock fan but I did see one (for Mil folks) at the Peterson BX today and pretty sure it was under $500 (no tax of course)

Whittington Center had a couple right now for 520. Not much help for you folks up north, but might help my SoCo friends.

Shot one today... I like it's sleekness... But it definitely kicks more than the 26... The grip just doesn't fit my hand as well.. Too slim I guess.. Shot a little low for me (not sure what that was about) and by the kick I mean the trigger but in to your finger it was strange! Had a good day shooting with my buddy we shot the 19c,26,34,36, and 43! Good times.. But I would rather have a 26 or I am in love with that glock 19c if anyone wants to sell me one for a good deal!

Nice. It's always great to get a reliable firearm so cheaply if you can! Any idea on their blue label price for the 43?

I have heard that they will be selling for $358 but I don't know how soon before they become available.
I handled one at Ark Tactical today. Doesn't feel like a Glock but points like a Glock. I'm going to add this to my list of things I am considering when I buy my first dedicated carry piece soon. Fits my criteria. Thin, light weight, small and chambered in 9mm.
Just looking at houses in Elizabeth and swung by the Big-R. They had two in stock for $469.... Now they have one. :)
Still trying to decide if we should move out here.
