View Full Version : Just Right Carbine
I had a little review of this thing posted here but it seems to have disappeared with the last little crash.
Anyhow, I just wanted to share some before and after pictures for now.
I'll post an actual review after I get a chance to take it out and run some rounds through it.
Here it is as it came from the factory.

And here it is after I changed a few little things.

What caliber is that?
Have you uad a chance to shoot it yet? If so, what's your impression of the rifle?

It's a 9mm. Takes Glock magazines. Haven't had a chance to hit the range yet this year but will take it out as soon as I can and report back.

I've done a range report on the ones we have. Might have gotten lost in the reshuffle. Overall they are nice carbines, fairly accurate for a 16" 9mm, has no problem hitting steel 50 + yards. The ambi capability was a no brainer, since the spouse is one of those "southpaw" shooters. It likes both Glock and theose pre 7/13 korean stick mags & drums.
I have a 45 acp conversion on order, supposedly ships tomorrow. Outside the upper/ lower receivers being propriety, the furniture & trigger group are AR items. Those who have ran mine are impressed with overall fit & function, have positive feed back for them.
I so want one of these ...
Took it out this weekend. Fun and easy to shoot. I didn't get to put too many rounds through it but it functioned fine. Next time I go out with it I will spend some time getting it sighted in and maybe shoot a few groups at twenty-five and fifty yards to see just how accurate it is.
Being a a blow back action, the brass comes out really dirty. And getting it all cleaned up was a real chore. Fun to shoot for sure. Not so fun to clean.
I'd like to see if it will run through about three hundred rounds in one range session. Might be too much fun for one guy. Might have to get someone to help me put some rounds through it.

I'll try to give you some notice next time I'm heading out. Maybe you can show me how to shoot my Glock 43 while we're out there too.
Slap a glock drum on it
I don't have one. But I think I have a couple of the 33 round magazines somewhere around here.

Ran a 33rnd stick through mine today, suprised no jam. Lots of smoke in field of view, but I had a fairly forward red dot paired with an extra smoky renamed Tula 9mm walmart ammo.
