Man draws gun during brawl in Arkansas parking lot

I saw this posted on Facebook. Majority of comments praised the bystander for taking action. A couple people did comment that neither his nor the elderly man's life were in imminent danger, therefore he should have not drawn.

Brave man. I'm pretty sure I would not have done the same thing. I would probably called 911 and stayed out of the fracas unless it looked like the guy was going to die. Even then maybe not, I don't know the situation and I don't carry to be a cop. I carry to protect myself and my family. One does need to stand up to evil but ...

Bad call on his part in my opinion. Suppose one or more of the six or seven guys he drew down on had been armed. Would have got real bad real quick. I say call the police and if you are feeling ballsy maybe let the group know the police are on the way. All from a safe distance of course.
