The M-lok is relatively new to the market so there aren't as many accessories available for it yet compared to the key-mod. I prefer the M-lok myself. I've had several of each and just like the way the M-lok stuff fits and attaches. I also like the look of the M-lock better than the key-mod. Magpul came up with the M-lok concept and has been putting out quite a bit of stuff lately that fit it.

I just picked up another M-lock rail the other day for something I'm working on right now.

For what it's worth I picked up an m lock rail a few months back and it has been a real pain to find accessories. Yeah Magpul has the stuff on their website listed as "contact a dealer" but none of the dealers actually carry anything. Because so many different manufacturers are using key mod, I feel like that is going to become the new standard. All things being equal (price) I would go key mod. Just my two cents.

I've seen pretty much all of the Magpul stuff in stock locally. The rail pieces, the vertical grip, the AFG, flashlight mounts, tape switch mount, bipod mount, rail covers, etc. I even saw a couple of accessories from other manufacturers in stock as well.

Not that I'm saying there isn't currently a bigger selection of stuff for the key mod right now. Just saying the M-lok stuff is starting to show up more and more every day.

Cool. I must have been looking at the wrong time (also, this could be the difference in availability of the Springs versus Denver). I love Magpul, and would love to see m-loc take off, it just seems like they may be swimming upstream on this one. The one huge advantage to m-loc is the price on the MOE rails. Can't beat that.

I say get whichever one you find the most visually appealing and move forward.

If you wanted to see them in person they probably have them in stock at Bowers Tactical in Centennial. Although it may be the AR15 version but they should be pretty similar.

I had the same quandary and went with the M-LOK. Took 3 weeks to get it, but I liked the look better than the keymod.
