Channel 9 has learned that George Zimmerman was involved in a shooting incident Monday afternoon in Seminole County (https://www.ar-15.co/s/news/seminole-county/) on Lake Mary Boulevard.
Authorities initially said Zimmerman was shot in the face, but sources have told Channel 9 the injuries may have been from shattered glass. Authorities said the injuries appear to be minor.
Witness Kenneth Cornell said he called 911 and that the alleged shooter told him he has had run-ins with Zimmerman in the past. Channel 9 is working to confirm whether Zimmerman knew the gunman.
Police towed Zimmerman's truck, which appears to have a bullet hole in the passenger-side window, to the Lake Mary Police Department.

Are you saying, feel little trayvon was murdered? Ever think, since the entire story hasn't been disclosed Zimmerman was attacked? IMO there's a bounty on his head, same for D. Wilson..

Nope: Just making a joke here and certainly not getting into this debate. George went to trial, witness/expert were called and he won. end of story. Same with Ex officer Wilson.

Sounds like he has trouble avoiding regular confrontations.

He has a psycho stalker who took a shot at him.

Prior incident:

Latest incident:
http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2015/05/11/breaking-report-george-zimmerman-shot/

How the hell does this stalker have a CCW?

In the past Apperson's criminal record reveals he was convicted of DUI, drug possession, careless driving, several probation violations, and a citation for not registering his current place of residence, as required by law.

Maybe now they will lock him up.

Since then, Zimmerman has had several brushes with the law, including:

He was charged with aggravated assault after being accused of throwing a wine bottle at an ex-girlfriend (http://www.wftv.com/news/news/local/no-charges-against-george-zimmerman-aggravated-ass/njzsY/), Brittany Brunelle. The case was dropped in January after she recanted her story and refused to cooperate.

Following another domestic confrontation, he was arrested on charges of aggravated assault, battery and criminal mischief after his then-girlfriend said he pointed a gun at her face during an argument, smashed her coffee table and pushed her out of the house they shared. Samantha Scheibe decided not to cooperate with detectives, and prosecutors didn't pursue the case.

Zimmerman was accused by his estranged wife of smashing an iPad (http://www.wftv.com/news/news/local/police-ipad-recorded-zimmerman-incident-was-damage/nZstN/) during an argument at the home they had shared. Shellie Zimmerman initially told a dispatcher her husband had a gun, though she later said he was unarmed. No charges were filed because of a lack of evidence. The dispute occurred days after Shellie Zimmerman filed divorce papers.

Last September, a driver said Zimmerman threatened to kill him (http://www.wftv.com/news/news/local/police-george-zimmerman-accused-threatening-driver/nhLmj/), asking "Do you know who I am?" during a road confrontation in their vehicles. The driver decided not to pursue charges, and police officers were unable to move forward without a car tag identified or witnesses.

Is everyone out to get this guy? Sounds like a lot of crap with no evidence. He needs to break all ties, move someplace quiet, and stop ending up in the news...

If he would only changed his name to Ben Gazie no one would ever hear from him again.

I believe the trevon shooting was legitimately self defense.

But at a certain point, I have to think that maybe he's the common denominator in a lot of his troubles after the trevon case.

Sounds like he may have some issues with de-escalating common situations. Add to that a slight hero-cop-wannabe complex, and you have someone that finds himself in the news a lot...

Zimmerman sounds, to me, like he's just become a walking shit magnet. He doesn't need to go looking for trouble, it knows where to find him pretty much anytime he goes outside. Unfortunate. He needs to change his name, move far away, and keep a low profile.

I agree. After entire TV viewer knows how Zimmerman (and other media exposed defenders) looks like.

There was a conscious effort to make him a walking shit magnet and it will follow him until they are satisfied (i.e., his life is either completely ruined or terminated).

There was an article in The Atlantic or some such publication chronicling how hard his family had been trying to lay low off the grid. The incident basically upended the lives of his entire immediate family. From what I gather, George realized that no matter what he tried to do, he was never going to be able to evade the attention of a nation, so he basically just said, "Fuck it." He's trying to live a normal life because he feels like he'll just burn himself out trying to disappear.

I believe the trevon shooting was legitimately self defense.

But at a certain point, I have to think that maybe he's the common denominator in a lot of his troubles after the trevon case.

In my unpopular opinion, by the rule of law, he legally defended himself. However, my caveat to that is that George was an equal participant in the events that led to his assault. I know first hand about these ramifications, as I've discussed previously. The difference is that George has not learned to avoid those situations at all costs. Like I said in response to HoneyBadger, I think he's just given up on trying to stay off the grid and is putting himself in a position to fail on a regular basis.

…”Mr. Apperson did intentionally fire into the vehicle, occupied by George Zimmerman, without provocation”…

One count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
One count of aggravated battery with deadly weapon.
One count of firing deadly missile into an occupied vehicle.

Zimmerman needs to carry a camera recording everything anytime he goes out. There are thousands of people out there that dream of becoming a hero by killing him. The only way he is going to avoid these situations is to never leave his house and have no contact with anybody.

Unfortunately I think at this point he's a part of the problem. I get a little tired of the "martyr" status he has. He never done anything great or worth note. He was just involved with a shooting that had some odd circumstances ( getting out of car when he was told to stay in it, no imminent danger, etc ) He isn't having most of his trouble with strangers, but girlfriends and other known people. None of us know this guy, he may just be a jerk who likes to find trouble. He could easily of disappeared into the crowd somewhere. The country has a short attention span and memory ( as long as your name doesn't pop up every few months on the news ). If Casey Anthony can disappear with the whole country hating her, he should be able too.
