Bristlecone is going to be running a USPSA match on Wednesday, May 20th.

From their facebook page:

4 Stages, $18. 6-10PM Pre-register by phone (303-985-0989) or in person at Bristlecone Shooting. You must have your USPSA Safety Card (even if you are not a USPSA Member) to register and participate.

For those that don't have a safety card, they are running a class (but I think it's tonight) where they cover all the basics. They did accept my IDPA safety card to register for the match.

I believe RW said they were capping it at 30 participants.

Is this gonna be a monthly weekday night match?

That would be awesome if so!

I was there last night with another member here. My first match of any kind. Loads of fun and humbling in many ways.

Need more practice but it's way more fun than just putting holes in paper.

First at two are me, 3rd is DenverGP.

I had fun last night, and that was the point, so I'm happy I went. But boy was I bad.

On the plus side, lots of room for improvement. And nice meeting you Rooski.

It's your first match and you're already sponsored?

Nope. I just wanted a flashy shirt.

Bought it it from work because I forgot to bring a change of shirt and figured I'd look like a dope wearing my white dress shirt.

Where is this range? I'm interested. Off Wednesday's too. We used to do an IPSIC speed event every Fri. Night at my range back home, then a USPSA event every weekend at different ranges in the area.

The range is very close to 6th and Union. The actual intersection is union and cedar.

Yup, Cedar is the first traffic light north of Alameda on Union.

You're completely right, it IS fun. You wouldn't think that adding a timer and course of fire would give you an adrenaline rush. You looked pretty good as a new USPSA shooter. Everyone starts there.

The hardest part is showing up for the first match and you got that out of the way.
