I'm staying at the DoubleTree hotel right across from the Pentagon tonight. Apparently there's some sort of LEO convention going on this weekend. There's a black Jeffco Sheriff's truck and Wells Cargo-style trailer parked on the curb outside so I know there's at least a few Colorado guys in town. Shoot me a PM if you're here. I'm leaving at Oh-Dark-Thirty tomorrow morning, so no late night partying for me, but it'd be nice to say hello to a forum member.

The memorial wall is just north of the Canadian Embassy on Pennsylvania Ave, just west of the Capitol. Red line Metro to Judiciary Square would take you 15 to 20 minutes just because you have to switch lines at Metro Center.

DEA HQ building is right next to your hotel. I used to have an office across the street from the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City.

Enjoy your time in DC. Lots to see and do. Just don't try to drive anywhere downtown. Metro or cab are the only way to get around town.
