The link below purportedly shows a scaled view of how areas around the U.S. (broken down by Congressional districts) either support or are against gun control.

Not sure where they got their data, but I found it an interesting view nonetheless.

Ya.... that's slightly off. Being in Utah, I can definately say that I haven't met one person against firearms yet... even the employees at the vegan place we went to (my wife wanted to try it) liked firearms. I can definately say the western slope area in colorado should have been all dark blue also...

So interesting that even the most progressive parts of Colorado, the majority of respondents still oppose gun control legislation.

Dense population areas exhibiting herd mentality. My final conclusion.

Their color palette selection seems misleading to me based on the numbers. It appears to give more influence to 'yes' IMO.

It looked about right to me. The vast majority are against gun control with heavy concentrations of stupid in NY,NY/LA/SanFran and Chicago. Boulder area obviously leans against but not completely.

Indeed! I like those numbers.

Not surprised in the least with the results from Weld County and rural Adams. Predominantly no. Still, CO District 2, where I used to live (Evergreen) is almost 50/50 split, thanks to redistricting and inclusion of the PRB.
