View Full Version : Money order question.
Guy sent me complete blank money order. Can I just fill in the info?
I assume you mean no name, if so yes you can do that. Just give it time to clear to be sure it is valid, treat it like a check unless it is a USPS and you exchange it for cash at the post office.

If it is a USPS MO you can check the status here : https://mois.usps.com/pls/pmoisnp/mois_external_pkg.main (https://mois.usps.com/pls/pmoisnp/mois_external_pkg.main)

I just deposit USPS money orders in my bank account just like a check..
And yes, the money orders can be completely blank, no need to fill anything in.

you may want to check with your bank. I tried depositing a money order that a member from here sent me, my bank refused it because it did not have the purchasers name, signature or address on it.
I went to a different location and printed the name, scribbled a signature and made up an address because I could not remember it, then it was accepted.
