It started raining here a few minutes ago & now it's hailing. So far just small stuff but whenever it hails it concerns me (for my vehicles mostly).
About time it rained, things were starting to dry up a bit. [/sarcasm]

The hail is teasing me. It stops for a minute then starts again just a little bigger. It's still small though, but I'm already watching leaves getting knocked off my trees.
Might have to consider taking my best car to the car wash (aka covered parking).

Planted my garden today.... RIP GARDEN! so pissed
Less than pea sized hail here. THANK JESUS FOR SUMP PUMPS!
Quick story. My submersible pump died a month or two ago. I waited and procrastinated. When it started raining a few weeks ago, I got out a fish pond pump I got at a garage sale for $1. It worked for a few hours and was enough. So I went to Depot and found the submersible pumps were way more expensive than I remembered. I stupidly bought a non-submersible like you'd use in a basement. There was only a drawing on the box so it never occurred to me that this thing is not meant to be in the weather. I've been pulling it out and sticking it in the pump well in the back yard when it fills up. Before it started raining today, I saw the well was about 2/3 full. Well, about 30 minutes into this storm I realize I've waited too long. Now the whole back porch is flooded deep enough that I can't even set the sump pump into the hole, because it puts the motor under water. So I stood outside in freezing ankle deep water holding the pump up, praying I wouldn't be electrocuted the whole time. Eventually, I figured out a way to elevate the pump enough to leave it as the lightning chased me inside. Now the sun is out and there are even a few dry spots on the back concrete.

i came up northbound I25 from broad a bit ago, hailing badly, nothing big, just lots of it! Every overpass had cars under it trying to protect them.
6th and Federa/Bryant is a mess. rivers of dirt from the construction. The Platte is running high too!
^^ You just reminded me. I took this yesterday morning.

Sheesh, the fog this morning was so thick I couldn't see my back fence 50' from the door!
So over this rain crud. Give me either snow or sun but not this.

Sun, and I'm good with the typical afternoon thunder storms, but what we have going on is the suck.

Personally, I love inclement weather (except when I want to ride my motorcycle). C'mon guys, didn't you all hear change is good? [ROFL2]
