That looks pretty awesome. I wonder what the weight is and I bet further refinements could be real decent.

I see the wiggle test but I'd like to feel the lock-up myself. Otherwise looks like a good idea.

Eh. I suppose if you were the kind of guy who was always mounting and dismounting your optics it would be kind of cool.

Its only cool if it holds zero, otherwise the difficult part about putting optics on and off a rifle is the zeroing.

I always wanted to have "adaptability" in my optics; a red dot and a long range scope for one AR for use for different types of shooting. The only thing that has held me back from trying this approach is what Zundfolge said; "reliability of holding Zero.

Will have to watch release and early reviews/testing. The thing that is interesting is most QD mounts requires force to unlock & lock. This "Sidelok" only force is to remove, fast mounting.

It's an innovative place to stick a cam lever. Is it better than what is already out there? Undetermined.
I suppose it removes some snag potential over a standard lever, but lever snag hasn't been a particularly significant problem for me.
I don't see this as being a revolutionary new thing, but then again, I also predicted the Grip Pod would be an epic failure as well.

Eh. I suppose if you were the kind of guy who was always buying and selling your optics it would be kind of cool.
