If they are the break down style, REI used to carry a variety of replacement sections. You just untie the bungee rope, insert new section, and Re-string the bungee.

If not the fiberglass take down units. All you need is Aluminum tubing. We replaced ours from tubing at the local recycle place. Take the ends that go in to the eyelets cutting them approx 4" from the top inserting that tent end in to the new tubing. You can secure the 2 pcs with an Al river, or sheet metal screw.

Something like this only in 1/2" dia. But you may need 3/4" o.d depending what dia poles you have now.

They are shock poles (fiberglass) If I remember correctly they would not fit through the taffeta sleeve that way.

Thanks I will check REI. It will make for a nice bike ride down the Cherry Creek trail

If they are fiberglass shock poles, you can buy repair kits at Sportsmans Warehouse, REI, or other outdoor supply places. Make sure you get the right diameter -- 7, 8, or 9 mm -- and cut to length to fit the broken section. Cut the shock cord on the broken pole, swap out the new section for the broken section, rethread with new shock cord (should be included in the kit), pull on the shock cord to provide some tension while the sections are together, then tie off with figure 8 or other stopper knot. Done!
