What options do I have for an AK I want to run suppressed that doesn't appear to have concentric threads? Is a new barrel about all I can do?

I have a SAM7R that I can see my can eclipsing on when I stick a dental mirror in the receiver and look down the barrel. Makes me :(.

Probably the best option would be to machine off the threads, then press-fit, braze or weld on a sleeve, and have the new sleeve metal turned concentric to the bore and threaded.

Sounds like your best fix there.

Circuits hit it on the head.
Never, ever trust the factory threads on ANY CommBloc barrel for concentricity or axial alignment.
