Calling all WS shooters!!

I'm on WS in Grand Junction. I have read some posts of people saying there's not many here and I wanted to say there's one more now. Don't have an AR yet but I'm working on it. In the meantime would love to meet some AR owners here and discuss semantics of where to go for ammo, accessories, etc as well as get some annual shoot out, meetings, and extra curricular activities going here in GJ. Any takers on helping me make this happen???

Yeah, not many western slope guys on here.

A lot of us tend to meet up on occasion, socialize, have food or drinks, shoot, or whatever. It's not just an Internet forum but a real life group of like minded people with similar interests and hobbies. Since the vast majority of people here are in the Denver, Colorado Springs, or Fort Collins area it makes meeting up and hanging out with you westerners all but impossible.

You guys are kind of the red headed step children around here. Lol.

I know you aren't the only guy on here from the Grand Junction area though.

Ya I've read several threads of other gj and wsers talking but still no contact with any yet. I do agree with your meeting up/socializing/real life comment because you guys seem a pretty tight knit group. If I knew a way to get to Denver, the springs, etc etc without taking a plane or the pass I would and I would like to include myself in said festivities. But vowed to never drive or ride the pass again and planes just too expensive gj to Denver.

I live in Delta and getting ready to move out into the country. I'm not much help at the moment. Super busy for the rest of the year.

Glenwood Springs here.
Rifle gun club used to have a competition tannerite shot.
Glenwood Springs club has a sporting clays ever Saturday.
As well as some good long range gongs.
Supposed to be a club over Paonia shooting DCM/NM
Haven't made it over there yet.
Usually don't make it over GJ way.

Another Durangoan here......Gun Club Member too. Passes to front range are no problem year round. Just a far piece to go.
