Rockies skills challenge

Does anybody know anything about this event? My son is 6 and has show some talent in baseball. Anyone here been to one of these?

Research shows on coming up in Lakewood this month. Think I will take my son.

it wasn't really what i was expecting. each participant hits off a t, throws a ball, runs the bases, and i think they did some catching. the entire process takes maybe 5 minutes. the older kids were hitting off the t also. didn't seem like a very good process of determining skill but the kids had fun.
