If someone told you they had bugs under their skin, is it the PC thing to do now to humor them, agree with them, and call them brave when they try to cut them out? Give them an award for being so brave, perhaps?
"Dude, you don't have bugs under your skin"
"But I really really feel like I do, and I have for a long time"
"Dang, must be bugs then. Here's a knife. I'm signing you up for an award."

If someone told you they had bugs under their skin...
...I'd realize quickly that I was in the wrong place at the wrong time or needed to change professions.

One word, chiggers!
I'd give them the address to Spyderco.
One word, chiggers!
Second word, scabies (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scabies).

Nerve pain, no meds for that. Any that work well anyways.
Let their family know so they can get help..... Probably mental.

Now imagine the same circumstances, but instead of bugs under their skin, its a woman under their skin, and the only way they can release it is to cut off their johnson.
Point is, its the exact same mental illness. No, you don't have bugs under your skin. No you're not a woman trapped in a man's body. You're mentally ill. You don't deserve an award or praise. What the fuck is wrong with a huge percentage of our population?

This whole bruce jenner thing has got me thinking that not only are the transgendered mentally ill (duh), but so are all gays. If you're gay because it's a fetish, I can understand that more than believing you were born the wrong sex. I dont think fetishes mean you're mentally ill.
The media's attempt to shove bruce jenner in my face has backfired, I guess you could say. I have now realized that gays who really believe they were born that way are just mentally ill. If they care to admit that is just a fetish, I guess that would be the same as saying "I know there aren't really bugs under my skin, I just like to pretend and scratch my arms a lot. I'm not about to start cutting. "
