When I rack the slide the trigger is not re-setting. Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think I've ever seen a Gen 1 G19. Way cool and probably worth quite a bit of $. Sorry, can't help you with your issue.

Got it on my 21st birthday. She's almost 26.
Maybe a spring popped?

I can rack it several times and nothing then a couple of times it will dry fire. Think it might be the firing pin safety?

sounds like a worn trigger bar and connector.

I guess I should just suck it up a and take to a glock armorer. Any recommendations.

IF you've had it 20+ years w/out going through it, drop the coin to replace the internals, springs, connector, f/pin cups, etc.
It's not that big a job IF you're mechanically inclined. PROVIDING there are no other issues once apart and you know what you're doing. If not there's a few gunsmiths here. BPtac's east of you. Depending how far you want to travel.

Glocks are super easy to work on and "Glock armorers" are a dime a dozen. Good luck in your search.

If it's not to complicated I think I will give it a try. Worse case I get a new gun. Win win?
Plenty of videos online to cover just about anything, watch a vid and then determine if it's something you think you can handle. Better yet, watch two or three, that way you will get the little gems that another vid may have glossed over.
Glocks are easy.

Gonna check some videos. The work doesn't scare me. I just wouldn't know it something needed to be replaced. Think I will give it a try.

If you're not in a big hurry, Neve's has "glock days" in august where there are armorers and glock folks changing parts out for free.
Or, call Bert

1.) Buy this http://www.glockstore.com/glock-survival-parts-kit
2.) Watch multiple Glock disassembly/assembly videos
3.) Replace parts and learn a lot about your pistol along the way
4.) Feel good about your accomplishment

Anybody know if any shops carry Glock parts in stock? I think I will start with a new trigger.

Bowers usually has quite a few odds and ins, Rock your Glock in Littleton will have anything you could ever need and then some.

Was thinking about Rock your Glock but can't get there during the week. Think I order what I need.
