Besides get everyone inside, what would you do?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzwbOZKfrUQ
Get my biggest caliber gun and then watch from inside.
Not a damn thing but watch.. natural order of things.
Come on. It is near Bear Creek Regional Park. It had to get it's name somehow.
Oh, the deer? Venison...it's what's for dinner [Coffee]
Sad to hear the deer ball like that, but mother nature is a bitch sometimes.

Geeze. I've never seen a bear actually kill a deer, much less hear the deer screaming.
I'd be pretty unnerved if that were my back yard, but I am also assuming that with the name "Bear Creek regional Park," people should expect to see bears.
I'd make sure that our windows and doors were locked, and I'd keep a big boomstick handy while watching that bear. And I would make sure neighbors and friends stayed away while this was going on.
Wow. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but that bear is a young one, isn't it?

And charge for the viewings.
I remember my first few months here when we heard the first animal being killed late in the evening. My step daughter gets all concerned, "what is that noise!" My reply, "just an animal being killed; get use to it." My response to the question above; go about my business and clear what is left of the carcass off my property like I always do.
Edit: On second thought... After the damn deer ate all my Aspen trees this spring, I would step out and root for the Bear and encourage him to kill some more.

After battening down the hatches, I'd do exactly what the guy did - film it and let nature take it's course.

Hope that kill isn't in conflict with HOA guidelines ;)
Bear stuffed venison,,, Mmmmm
watch, and hope the bear leaves the meat for you as a gift, just like a cat brings mice to the owner. lol
If the deer is dumb enough to get caught by a bear those genes shouldn't be passed on to future generations.

I don't know how you ever let your kids play in the yard in that neighborhood, ever. I'd have to have a rooftop sniper just to mow the damn lawn.

Normally only ever concerned with the mountain lions.
Mountain lion in heat is one of the craziest noises ever. Sounds like a woman screaming.

Bears don't get their food at Safeway.
I don't think I would be outside walking around like the guy that shot this video.
Mother Nature is a cruel mistress.
Bears don't get their food at Safeway.
They would if people in the parking lot weren't so damn scary with their inability to park!
Venibear or Bruison... either sounds way better than turducken [Dinner]
I'd probably whine to my wife to do something, while I did absolutely nothing. Oh wait...

I actually am a little concerned about this video. Bears are very smart animals. They normally go way out of their way to avoid human interaction. This time of year there should be plenty of other food around and bears are not desperate to pack on pounds like they are during the fall.
That bear is not afraid of human interaction, and that is not a good thing (http://www.denverpost.com/technology/ci_13023974).
It is going to come back and kill a person. That's why I would kill it.

I can see the deer jumping the fence, even a six foot fence. How'd the bear get in there? .. and to catch the deer IN the yard like that? There's something wrong with this scenario.
On the one hand, this is a cool part of nature that few people get to see and people building on the outskirts of wilderness need to understand THEY are encroaching on the natural creatures' habitat ... on the other hand, I'd be very concerned about the bear's comfort at being inside a fenced backyard. This seems to me to be a bit different from the mountain lions that were snatching pets from backyards when Skyway and Rockrimmon were first developed on the outskirts of C Springs ...

Good news story but I'm puzzled by one paragraph:
"She didn't have a chance in hell," said Connie Barnes, who lived with Munson for five years and never went outside after dark without a spotlight, her husband and his BB gun.
WTH did she or her husband think a BB gun was going to do? Were they protecting against killer rabbits like Jimmy Carter?

Story here says deer was injured and hiding in bushes before bear attacked.
"Gieck says the bear was acting normally, sauntering through yards and climbing the base of a tree. But then it made an unexpected, aggressive dive into a bush alongside a home. "I looked back over my shoulder to see him pulling the deer out and he brought him out into the yard," Gieck said."
"Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers say was injured prior to the attack. "I believe it was a broken back leg," said Parks and Wildlife spokesperson Abbie Walls."
I think perhaps the bear already had a go at said deer and was trying to find it.
ZERO THEORY

In my back yard? Sounds like a chance to bag a deer and a bear without tags for either. Wait for the bear to finish off the deer, then plug him with a 175 grain 7mm Rem. Mag. The dog got out when she heard the ruckus and the bear tried to go after her. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Videos like this are important to all the anti-hunting crowd that thinks hunting is barbaric. Nature is much more barbaric in the circle of life.
