Can I power my RCBS Chargemaster with 12V DC?

The wall wart is stamped that its output is 9V. I'd like to use my scale at the range, and it's simple to come up with a source of 12VDC. I wonder if it's safe to feed it 12VDC.

I hate answering my own posts, but I just called RCBS, and they said 12VDC was fine. Cool.
