View Full Version : Good stock for long range shooting

I was just curious what people like and use for a good long range precision rifle I'm leaning twords a magpul prs stock but also curious what other options are out there I want a fixed stock I have a ubr stock on my ar15 and love it so I figured couldn't go wrong with the prs

The PRS is nice but it is kind of brick like and high in cost.

If your rifle is has a longer barrel and maybe even a suppressor, the weight of the PRS is a plus.

59140that one looks pretty cool I wouldn't mind installing one of these on mine any issues with this stock

On the other hand I am a big magpul fan and like the quality I think paying the price difference is well worth it.

I've talked to a couple of people who seem to know and they say the PRS is a little heavy and a little pricey, but that it is the gold standard by which all others are measured. Its what I'm going with on my build because it may not be "perfect", it doesn't seem to have any real flaws. Besides, perfect is in the eye of the beholder.

PRS is what I went with and I am glad that I did.

In case nobody has mentioned the PRS you should give it a look. Adjustable LOP and comb height.
Hard to beat.
