I think I'd like to try out the FNS or FNX. The FNX has a combo safety/decocker. I have tried shooting HK USPs with a high thumb, but ended up decocking the pistol sometimes on recoil. (To fix that, I got the variant 9 detent plate to eliminate decocking.)
My question is whether the FNX can be shot with a high thumb riding the safety without the likelihood of ending up decocking the pistol. My manual of arms for thumb safety equipped pistols needs to stay the same, so inadvertent decocking is a deal breaker. Thanks!
