Carl was an awesome guy, hearing about somebody dying in relation to something you are involved in always sucks, that much harder when you actually know them.

Carl and his wife Lacy helped my wife carry me into our house after my 2013 hill climb crash. He was the guy who would help no matter what, The guy you would never hear someone say anything bad about, the guy we would all want as a friend.

I am lucky and very honored to have been able to get to do this for him.

Carl was a great guy and will be missed for sure.
He was very helpful and welcoming to me when I first moved here and showed up at the track. We both raced Triumphs and he was always willing to give me advice and help me with bike setup etc.

I was on Carls bike #217. I rode up after the sweep riders. I think it was the first time they've ever allowed that.
