AR building artistry at a new level! If that is even a thing.

COBALT KINETICS (http://www.cobaltkinetics.com/)

I am thinking less function and more form, yes, definitely more form. I am really digging that sexy lower though, very nice!

Too bad they WON'T, sell it separately. :(

The hand guard looks "pokey" and dangerous to ones self, and not sure what, if there are even attachments, but still unique

What you all think?

$3000 AR better look and play nice. Way out of my price range though.

TFB (http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2015/06/30/bad-a-or-billet-aluminum-cobalt-kinetics-b-a-m-f-edge-is-both/)article on them with more of the design and difference with them and a standard AR

Hmmm, I'm thinking the only thing I like about that AR, is where it came from (St. George). Way too much going on for me.

Ambi controls for the wrong side of the brain shooter.

That would be one unit, even you'd have a hard time selling. With shit like this out there, COLT is smart filing bankruptcy.

Their site says it's an ambi bolt release mechanism.
WTF indeed.

I got to meet the owner and his wife at the 3 gun nation match in st George earlier this year. The guns look amazing in person, super nice people.

Kinda looks like a Star Wars gun, i wouldnt turn it down if i won one for free! 3000.00 is spendy in this market right now. Looks like they are a forward thinking gun makers, sometimes that is good sometime not.

The gun has some very clean lines and it almost looks like the lower and butt stock are all one piece.

I think I remember reading somewhere that the left version of the forward-assist somehow serves as a bolt release???

Interesting, but it's not for me. That fore end looks like it would get pretty warm.

Anybody else thinking Decepticons??

ARs are barbies for boys. Good on them for pushing the envelope. Little to much flare for me.

I think they're cool looking. Too pretty for how I use AR's, but it'd be fun to have one.

Ambi FA's just seem like an unnecessary thing.

Heavy for the sake of style is not my thing. I wish them success.

"DD bolt release action" This part does not make any sense to me. It means one of two things...

Basically they've modified the Forward Assist to also act as a bolt release, then added a second one on the left side of the gun so you can just hit it with your thumb.

I like the idea of making the FA into a bolt release but I'd prefer to see it moved to the left side and not on both sides of the gun.

At best FAs are just useless extra weight, at worse they're a good way to turn a minor malfunction into a catastrophic failure ... but the idea of having a bolt release you can just reach up with your thumb and hit is kinda cool.

They're pretty, I'll give them that.

Paint it white and they could make a fortune selling it to Storm Troopers... HAHAH

Dunno, some nice things but over all, I'm kinda a less is more type of guy and this really isn't my cup of tea.

But whatever floats your boat.
