Hand guard recommondations

Wanted to see what everyone recommends for carbine length drop in hand guards for the AR's. I dont want to spend a ton but want to upgrade to something that I can add to.

Stock round hand guards are fine. I like Magpul MOE but I like to color code my rifles for caliber, i.e. black 5.56, FDE .300 Blk, and OD 5.45.

For drop ins I like the magpul moe SL line because the lower part of the Handguard is extended over the lower part of the FSB

I've been looking at the Magpul stuff pretty hard. For $30ish or so it might be the way to go.

For drop-in HGs magpul is hard to beat imo. It's only when you get into free floating HGs that everyone will tell you 963 different things.
