No pat searches or metal detectors last time I was there, DADT. I don't go out of my way to look for signs, so that's never been an issue.

I've CC'd there regularly for the last decade or so. There are signs at the gate that state "no open carry" but nothing about CC. You'll be fine.

Once you're done with the zoo, make sure you take the drive up to the Will Rogers Shrine, its really worth the trip (and its included in your ticket to the zoo). You'll get to drive through the zoo too which is kinda cool.
