So I finally got a full weekend coming up not intruded by work. I'm in the mood to disappear for a camping and fly fishing trip. I was thinking about heading to the area of Lander, WY, but the drive will cut down on my time on the water. I don't have a boat to go float the river so I will be wading.
Anyone have any suggestions?

If Wyo is destination, it has been good season on N Platte. Hit on Miracle Mile.

Pudre is always great. The dream stream in between spinney and elevenmile. I have a GREAT spot for bottom fishing. I won't share it online. Bottom fishing is the best, you can drink beer.

I thought the streams to/from Eleven Mile were Gold Stream aka catch & release. Supposedly great fishing there though.
I'm partial to Taylor Resv. Myself & you can rent a boat from the marina cheap enough if you wanted to.
