Irish Bad luck, I swear I didnt do anything!
We have ALL had those day(s) / week(s).
Started off two days ago;
My phone protector just fell apart, took it off, and moments later butter fingers drops it, creates a small crack. I think, oh well, the phone is almost 5 years old will have to upgrade soon. Still usable.
Yesterday I had a very expensive radio/CD player (BOSE) item I was selling off. I had a buyer all ready and waiting off of Craigslist that I have been haggling with for a week. Last final thing before meeting up is he wanted to see a video of it work. So in the process of taking a video it started malfunctioning. I am a tech geek so I take out my tools and opened it up to find my kids apparently when they were younger stuck "anything" (foam hearts, butterflies, paperclips, round cardboard pieces, tiny plastic swords) they could find into the CD slot. Connector cable broke off board, kids junk in the CD drive caused it to burn out.............. lost a good sale worth $150+. (So mad at the boys, I am buying the boys the; "I am the reason we cant have nice things." T-Shirts.
Then playing around with some other stuff I had in storage for upcoming garage sale. Another high end item, worked last time I stuck it in the box. Now it doesn't work. Grrrr
After this mornings events, trying to take pictures of other stuff, I drop my phone again, this time shatters the screen, completely unusable, Now, I have to upgrade. I make a run to T-Mobile, luckily a good deal at the time, a refurbished phone that is not costing too much, but now I am having problems with this phone.
On top of all that, packing, getting ready to move in two weeks, have both my wife's and my youngest birthday's next week. How did I time that again, not paying attention or just coincidence?
I Feel I cannot win........................
However after all my complaining above, I realize there are a lot of people with far worse situations, with NO money, health problems, and family tragedies. Which is far worse than my constant Irish bad luck over the last week.
So as I get to my end of the post I realize I am "Lucky" actually, well.................... for now. :)
Just venting passive aggressively.
Take care out there, keep your loved ones close and stay safe.
