Just before I got out of the military less than 3 years ago, we updated our will.

Several recent events have made me need to change my will sooner than later. More specifically writing one or more immediate family members out. I don't have much, but while I am haunting these fuckers I want them to not have anything of mine while I am doing it.

Not sure if Colorado will recognize something from Legal Zoom, or is it recommended to pay ANOTHER lawyer hundreds of dollars an hour...or perhaps I can add a quick statement to the will.

Anyone have any experience with this type of thing?

I've dug around a little, and found some sites with information, including the CRS that outlines making a will in the state. If you've got a will already, I would write your new will, bring your witnesses and the new will to a notary, and add some sort of notation on the new will that states that it takes precedence.
