Caught a few this past weekend. Went to the spinning rod after day 1. Some "obviously better than me" fly fishermen were doing okay on some of the smaller ponds, but the streams are pretty rough, and high still.

Yeah, they are still running pretty high. I've only been to a few lakes.

-caught quite a few cutthroat today (40+), mostly on ants and knats. All above 10,500'.

We did well on the creek below North Michigan Reservoir in the state forest over the 4th weekend.

Spinney is fishing well if you can tolerate the mosquitos, holy shit the mosquitos are huge and angry. The heavy flows did clean out some of the weeds and other crap. Look behind and in front of the big rocks and drop offs, also up against the banks in the slower water. Big caddis pupa and large copper johns in red or copper have worked well along with the regulars, go up a size so the fish get a chance to see them. I have not been to 11 Mile but I'd imagine the same thing. I have a guide trip at Rainbow Falls this Saturday so that should be fun.
I heard the Ark is slowing down too. 1300ish is fishable but I wouldnt go too far out[Sarcasm2]. Big bugs in the fast water.
