TLDR version: A champion Russian boxer is scheduled for a fight to be broadcast on HBO. He has a close sponsor relationship with a Texas ammo company, and has their logo on his trunks. HBO wants him to get rid of that.

I agree with HBO. Ammo is used to committ violent acts. It has no place mixed with boxing.

No they have a problem with ammo suppliers. Their shows are "Gritty stories" that reflect specific times in our country. Including fantasy realms where anything goes, PROVIDING it doesn't try selling a product that goes against their personal belief.
Remember You need to be Tolerant of their view point, not the other way around.

If I was the boxer I would agree to not have the logo on my trunks.


Then I would show up in the ring with the logo drawn or painted on my back as large as I could.

HBO's right, it's just crazy a Russian boxer advertising Russian ammo. How could they let that happen here in the America with violence free TV where guns and ammo are illegal and no one has them.

I can't wait until the free service is over and HBO sends a bill, don't watch their crap anyhow.
