Love it !
Thanks for the post ! [ROFL2]
That's kind of funny. Might have to pay more attention to my attire next time I get called to jury duty. Maybe the right shirt can get me dismissed quickly.

Nice, hope holems is put to death in the most painful manner possible.
Could lead to a charge of contempt. Pretty funny that nobody picked up on it.

It would never even occur to me to wear a t-shirt to court in the first place.

Then you need not worry about jury selection if you were to live in Weld county. My last summons for the county, I dutifully put on my subpoena blazer and a nice friendly tie. I was better dressed than everyone in the jury pool, as well as the defendant, his attorney, and the prosecutor. I was removed by peremptory challenge after saying little more than my name. Guess I didn't look like a 'peer'. My observation was that the empaneled juries for the day consisted mostly of college kids to dumb to get dismissed, and the elderly with nothing much to do. A very effective crime deterrent in my mind to know that these are the folks who could potentially stand in judgement of me.

And wear a white sheet to keep them covered. No way in hell I'm leaving my house covered in gang tats.

That pointy hood to complete the ensemble is a different story.
Sent from my electronic leash.

I'd just tell 'em I'm retired military with degrees in engineering and physics and a keen interest in Constitutional law ...

The internet man.....no way I'm leaving the suburbs to drive up to Colfax or federal
Heard on the news this morning that the juror was questioned about the T-shirt by the judge. He answered that he was running late and just grabbed the shirt out of the closet and didn't pay any attention to what was on it.

"The judge went on to opine on this reporter's motive for publishing the story in the first place.
"He made a story out of it because he wanted to show he's the smartest kid in the classroom," Samour said. "And he even mentioned that in his story, too. 'None of the lawyers and the judge noticed it.'""
Now that is the scary part. The reporter is the smartest kid in the courtroom?
[facepalm]
