Name is Greg and yes I still suffer with Black Rifle Disease.
I have lived in the Colorado Springs area 21 years, but am hoping to move out east soon.
I have never bought a AR for myself, in fact my first AR was one I built including the receiver. Later I have taken the easier path an bought commercial receivers so I'm not some home built elitist.
I celebrate diversity - by having many calibers to play with.
Yes I reload, or this affliction would have broke me.
I also collect Stamps, series of 1934. :)

You have more money for ammo than I do. I shot a mac-10 up at Rampart Range last month ('bout a week before it closed). It had a suppressor on it which made the .45 sound like a bb gun. The gentleman who owned it was kind enough to let me shoot it and gave me a full mag. (I told him I wouldn't drain his mag). I tried, tried, to only put 2-3 down line. shoot...it ripped 5 off before I could even think of letting the trigger go. He then loaded another full mag(30rds.) and emptied it in just a couple of seconds.

I am all to familure with the ravinous appitites of the MAC family. Such that I once went and bought a half ton of wheel weights to process into 230gr. RNLBB slugs for a M10/45.
Like I said I'm a kind of "Do it myself" sort of guy, so I roll my own ammo so to speak starting with casting my own bullets. There is no way I could afford to feed the beasties any other way.
I don't have a can for the M10/45 yet. Thats filed in the some day file of Form 1 projects.
I'm not loaded with cash - I was making $14k/yr when I bought my first SMG, and had a mortgage to deal with also. Being single helps.
In fact I find myself having to thin out the collection now due to lean times, and I am trying to consolidate funds for a down payment on a place out east.
Note: I'm still an obsessive compulsive lead horder - so if you find so lead you want to move ... remember me.
