I read that the White House wanted people to report "fishy" emails and the like to a white house email address.

So I did.

acts Are Stubborn Things
Posted by Macon Phillips
August 4, 2009 Opponents of health insurance reform may find the truth a little inconvenient, but as our second president famously said, "facts are stubborn things."
Scary chain emails and videos are starting to percolate on the internet, breathlessly claiming, for example, to "uncover" the truth about the President's health insurance reform positions.

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can't keep track of all of them here at the White House, we're asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

LMAO! [ROFL1]

I reported myself. See below.

Your web page (http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/) suggested sending fishy claims into this email site, well, I've found a few such claims and I have even identified the sources.

These false statements and lies come from the following people.
1) President of the United States: Barak Obama
2) Speaker of the House: Nancy Pelosi
3) Vice President of the United States: Joseph Biden

Who would have guessed that one of the founding fathers (Thomas Jefferson) would have recognized that the previously stated 3 sources would come to power in the following quote that serves as a warning of what they are trying to do

"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them" -- Thomas Jefferson
Below I am listing the false claims made and I am pasting sections from the bill itself proving that the president and other proponents of this bill are outright fabricating the claims they are making in order to bamboozle the people of this great country into what amounts to a hostile take-over of the entire medical industry.

You claim that we will be able to keep our health insurance if we so choose... well, I've read the entire bill and this is simply false. You can keep your insurance no longer than 5 years before having to switch to a government approved plan. If there are any changes, no matter how slight, you must immediately choose a government approved plan.
P. 16 : Insurers can't enroll new people after the effective date
Can't add dependents after the effective date

3 (a) GRANDFATHERED HEALTH INSURANCE COV
4ERAGE DEFINED.—Subject to the succeeding provisions of
5 this section, for purposes of establishing acceptable cov
6 erage under this division, the term ‘‘grandfathered health
7 insurance coverage’’ means individual health insurance
8 coverage that is offered and in force and effect before the
9 first day of Y1 if the following conditions are met:
10 (1) LIMITATION ON NEW ENROLLMENT.—
11 (A) IN GENERAL.—Except as provided in
12 this paragraph, the individual health insurance
13 issuer offering such coverage does not enroll
14 any individual in such coverage if the first ef
15 fective date of coverage is on or after the first
16 day of Y1.
17 (B) DEPENDENT COVERAGE PER
18 MITTED.—Subparagraph (A) shall not affect
19 the subsequent enrollment of a dependent of an
20 individual who is covered as of such first day.

P. 17: You can keep your current plan for 5 years, then you have to switch to a government approved plan.
8 (b) GRACE PERIOD FOR CURRENT EMPLOYMENT
9 BASED HEALTH PLANS.—
10 (1) GRACE PERIOD.—
11 (A) IN GENERAL.—The Commissioner
12 shall establish a grace period whereby, for plan
13 years beginning after the end of the 5-year pe
14 riod beginning with Y1, an employment-based
15 health plan in operation as of the day before
16 the first day of Y1 must meet the same require
17 ments as apply to a qualified health benefits
18 plan under section 101, including the essential
19 benefit package requirement under section 121.

You claim that this Health Bill will not come between doctors and patients, yet you will determine what is effective and what is not. It will strip doctors of any say-so and instead mandate that they provide "bundled" services, that is, they will only be allowed to provide pre-packaged services approved by the government.

P. 299 The Secretary of Health gets to determine what post-acute medicare services you get. They are pre-packaged.
19 (2) BUNDLING POST ACUTE SERVICES.—The
20 plan described in paragraph (1) shall include de
21 tailed specifications for a bundled payment for post
22 acute services (in this section referred to as the
23 ‘‘post acute care bundle’’), and may include other
24 approaches determined appropriate by the Secretary.
1 (3) POST ACUTE SERVICES.—For purposes of
2 this section, the term ‘‘post acute services’’ means
3 services for which payment may be made under the
4 Medicare program that are furnished by skilled
5 nursing facilities, inpatient rehabilitation facilities,
6 long term care hospitals, hospital based outpatient
7 rehabilitation facilities and home health agencies to
8 an individual after discharge of such individual from
9 a hospital, and such other services determined ap
10 propriate by the Secretary.

You claim that it will not force counseling for "end of life care", yet it does exactly that. In fact, your "end of life care plan must be approved by a physician and you must be consulted no fewer than once every five years by no fewer than 10 agencies, 7 of which are government.

Pages 420 - 430 Cover this in great detail.

The Bill also creates many other insidious demands on the American people, represents an assault on individual liberty, and completely abrogates limitations placed on Federal power by the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights. Such draconian and Stalinist measures include:
1) Forcing me to carry a health care ID card and file a "Health Care Return" to prove that I am providing adequate coverage for me and my family. P. 157 -159
2) Gives the Department of Health instant, real time access to all data, to include my bank accounts. P.503 - 505/ P, 157 - 159
3) Provides for the effective geographic rationing of doctors P. 660 - 666

YOu spelled the president's name wrong. It's Barack, Not Barak. No offense, but that's kind of a critical error if you wanted to be taken seriously. Nice email though.
