Location Broomfield 1 Park St
Broomfield, CO 80020

Basically 120th and 287.

This had a thread in places to shoot but nothing in the reviews. Maybe a few from other thread could be merged as they were review like?

First impression I love it. It's not a huge yuppie place like centennial. Every employee I talked to I felt knew their shit pretty well unlike the fudds or clueless at big box stores. Doesn't hurt to have 2 female employee's is always nice to see in a gun place. Theyve got a large space that could use some filling in. I'd like to see more products for sale, and for their own sake maybe a small firearms section selling the easy/common sellers. Rental selection was small like others said, I didnt note all the handguns as I was focused on work practice. They did have a nice AR for rent with irons, a 50th anniv. ed 10/22 and a pump shotty for bigger stuff.

Range fee is unlimited range time unless they get busy in which case you can get back in line if desires. They do have a soda/food machine and looked like free coffee? They have various classes including a reloading class. I saw advertised a member ship for $30 a month! that's m-f open till 5pm. That sucks for some folks but people w/ random schedules or work weekends that's quite nice. Seems like a good option for folk more north end of Denver.

One of the things that I thought was standout was the seperate exit from the range has a wash station and table for gear. Water spouts come out of ammo cans for a wierd bar style faucet. They stocked industrial "Lead off" handsoap. The specialized soap and station I think is amazing compared to other places where if you want to wash up its just the public bathroom with normal soap.

The actual firing lanes are fairly basic. Ranges laid out by colored ribbons, which while basic, were nice they were on the actual rail. Other places like Rocky Mountain I have a hard time with telling if i'm at the right range due to depth perception. Here just hit the flag and know you are there. I did need to do rapid from the holster/hip fire stuff and the RSO just let me demo a couple times and signed me off. Very friendly about it the front desk manager and the RSO, didnt have to near beg like other places.

I did not check ammo costs or what I paid for 5 targets. I believe I was charged the $22 range fee + the other threads first time registration fee. So all in total I paid $40. Not great if you go once and never again, but after that makes for easy checkin with bar code kinda like that range in Loveland. As long as I keep going I think the extra cost well worth it.

One thing that sadly I couldnt get on is a pilot class this coming monday they have one slot for. It's a LEO/First responder/army CCW class that is meant for already shooters, $100. Not stellar pricing but sounds like be more interesting/quality vs the $50 class specials you sit in for a few hours and do nothing.

Have a bowling pin shoot friday I didnt get much info on and ladies night on Thursdays.

Edited, yeah, guess i shoulda mentioned thats the name of the place. Kinda wierd. It's Broomfield/westminster. Not too bad for us a bit north coming down 287 (frederick) or anyone coming across 120th.

Shoot Indoors is a great indoor range. The ability to shoot rifles (even at a mere 25 yards) is a great option for doing simple function tests or basic sight in. It sucks having to drive 2+ hours to do such mundane tasks. Facilities are nice. The staff is friendly and most importantly they leave you alone while you are shooting. Address is 1 Park St. Broomfield.

monday thru Thursday they are open until 10 p.m. A buddy and I usually go over around 8 after the kids go to bed. The place is usually pretty empty by then.

Had another good range day, got in before it got busy (1020). Different RO who once he heard my employment didnt even ask a demo before letting me do holster work. From other thread sounds like pinshoot was fun, and they have a new sheet out showing a low light shoot during each month and some other usual's like ladies nights.

Went ahead and signed up for the M-F membership w/ discounted weekends. Since I often have weekdays off, amazing deal. I only wish and it's not like it's any different elsewheres that I could shoot steelcore x54 and non slugs. Need me a close by outdoor range too.

I still need to figure out if they'll take some beat up old long/low tables I could donate to give more space as with only a few shooters the back tables get used up.

First time going there today (wed). I took my old friends from my school days who I haven't met for 17 years and another one for 10 year respectfully.

2 of my friend had a passport and they gladly accepted it as an ID, but immediately gave it back. It was an important document, and my ID was enough.
I had to take my kid in there, because I had no baby sitter. we put her in a muff and ear piece + huge protective glasses. My kid behaved very very well in there.

to make it short....
1. They accept passport as an ID from visitors to shoot.
2. very friendly to people with kid(s).
3. Very nice ROs.

I know it takes days of research, formatting, careful consideration, approvals, review and maybe even some typing to create a link, but hey, I'm used to doing the heavy lifting.

http://www.goshootindoors.com/

If you're going to talk about a place, post a link. If you're posting to a thread that doesn't already have a link, add one.

Your public service announcement for the day.

Ps. Sorry, this kinda stuff falls under my job description at work, and I'm constantly battling people that have the opinion "Why should I post a link? It's easy to google and I'm too ignorant to realize that if 5,375 people all have to individually google the link (and verify that they got the correct hit, etc., etc., etc.), our company looses a LOT of time that could otherwise be spent being productive."

When I bring my krinkov, if the place is empty the RSO will turn down the lights for ultimate muzzle flash.
