I think it was posted in the Post a Picture of Your Latest Purchase thread, but there are too many pages to browse through. Does anyone remember the member that had that Japanese lunch thermos? It was a Mr. Bento or something like that. Anyone help me out?

Edit: I think this was it. Can anyone confirm? http://www.amazon.com/Zojirushi-SL-JAE14SA-Bento-Stainless-Silver/dp/B000246GSE/ref=sr_1_1/178-7442868-9709132?ie=UTF8&qid=1439751206&sr=8-1&keywords=mr+bento+lunch+jar+set

Edit: This is the one. We can close up this thread unless people want to discuss this.

So, wtf? What makes it so pricey? Is it the coolest, grooviest thermos ever or what?

Probably that there are different compartments. Wife wanted to know why I didn't just go to Walmart and get something half the price. I've eaten hot soup out of a regular thermos before, and it is tedious, and you eat the same thing all day.

There are a lot of cool thermos containers out there, but you'd spend just as much or more getting the same amount of containers and they'd take up 4x the space.

I have one. Works good to keep things warm on the bottom two containers. The top two tend to be more room temp by lunchtime.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. I am more of a suit & briefcase guy then a 'Mr. Bento' guy. If I want lunch, I will tell one of my people to get it. They already know that if it is not to the temperature of my liking, they will be wearing it. ;)

I use to carry this thermo lunch box during my elementary school. Of course, it was only $10 at that time.

Even 30 year old technology of thermo lunch box would protect heat (hot to luke warm) for ~5 hours.
It will probably keep the heat longer on newer lunch box.
If you like hot/warm home made meal, it is worth it.

Don't hate. After the next one gets 2nd degree burns, there may be an opening for a personal assistant.
