Does anyone's manual have data for 45 Colt, lead 250gr and bullseye.

Alliant lists max loads which is not really what I am going for. My Lyman 49th lists other fast powder (nitro 100, clays) but no BE.

Maybe you could post a scan/picture of the page for me.

I have a ton of data for the 45 Colt. Not sure I can get it scanned/photographed right now.

If someone doesn't come along soon and help you out I'll try to dig up what I have.

Man, not much out there for standard loads with bullseye. I did find this.

The data I have for the "Ruger and Contender Only" shows several loads with a 250 gr bullet with 8.0 to 9.5 gr of bullseye.

Hope this helps. Sorry I couldn't find more data.

Thanks ray!

Alliant lists 7gr max 879fps and to reduce my 10% to start, speer LSWC, is that the speer book?

I have data as low as 4 grains and as high as 7.8 grains. What kind of lead 250 grain are we talking about? LSWC? Round nose flat point? One lube groove? Swaged? Cast?

I've got 250gr single lube groove FP with a crimp groove. Cast. .452

Also have 200gr rn and lswc and would be interested in data for 200's also. Also cast. .452

I tried 6.2gr out of my rifle and they shot pretty clean with low recoil.

6.2gr with 200's gave sooty cases and low recoil with the pistols and shot well.

If you already have a point of reference, I'd just move up or down in .2 gr increments and see if there's a sweet spot to be found. Just keep an eye out for pressure signs.
