Again FRIDPA will be hosting and IDPA Match at the Clear Creek Range in Dumont, Saturday August 8th. Set up starts at 7:00am and shooters meeting is at 9:30am. Bring your rifle for the side match this month. Weather looks great for the match. See you there.

I have less than 100 rds left, but that wouldn't stop me. Unfortunately, Spouse is laid up pretty good with 6 separate surgical 'procedures', as they call them, having been done to her foot last week. It's a no-go for me if I don't want one of those lifelong regrets on my hands. :) Thanks once again for the classifier last month...can't wait to get back up to Clear Creek for more fun.

Fun match today. I was shocked to see all of the new shooters at the match. They had a whole squad of new shooters and some others that were in the other squads as well. Its nice to see so many new people giving it a go.

The stage setups were nice too! Except that last swinger on stage 3 and all of stage 4. They were just far enough that my old eyes had trouble seeing bullet holes and I quit shooting too soon. I know use bigger bullets, but I'm out of .45s until I get more components to load.

We are also in that time of year when the sun is behind the targets which makes it difficult to distinguish shot placement.

I buried 6 shots in the COM 0 on 1 target because I could not tell if I even hit the darn thing.

Great Match. Thanks for all the help, we couldn't do it without you. 67 showed up to shoot. Scores are posted on the web site. Rifle side match scores will be posted shortly. Thanks again. FRIDPA
