View Full Version : Why I don't trust Political Polls
Heard this on Rush and I couldn't stop laughing while feeling extremely depressed.

I'd run for president. But with my luck I'd win.
I like the part near the end where he wants McChubbins to be his VP. Pretty funny stuff.

I heard from a reliable source that Edward Martini from Woodland Park, CO is rapidly gaining ground in some circles. Rumor has it he suffered from a lack of name recognition but he's worked that issue lately and, as a result, more and more people are familiar with him.

Its a funny story and all but it does illustrate one way in which people rig polls.
Putting a fake or joke option in a poll DOES skew the poll. So where do you think the 9% that voted for "Deez Nuts" would have ended up? The two options are that more would have gone to hill and saved her bacon or more likely most of those 9% would have gone to The Donald making his lead even larger.
I suspect Deez Nuts was put in there in hopes of saving Hill's bacon.
