New convert to Glockism and wondering about the trigger upgrades for my G19 Gen3. I have seen reviews about quite a few and have narrowed my options down the Lone Wolf 3.5 connector, the Taran Tactical 3.25 kit, the Ghost Rocket 3.5 connector, or the ZevTechnologies kit. If anyone has advice relating to these products with the pro's and con's that would be great. Just want to gather some more product knowledge with personal experiences from those of you who have used these before.
Personally, I usually don't like the 3.5# connectors as I find the break of the trigger a bit mushy for my taste. Most of my Glocks have the Glock "dot" connector. I find I like the feel of the trigger break with the dot connector better than just about anything.
That being said, I do have the Ghost "Edge" connector in two of them and they don't seem to have that mushy feeling I don't like in a normal 3.5 connector.
I've shot most of em. I run bone stock. Sights are the only issue.
What are you using it for?
competitions = take it to a gunsmith to clean up with an connector, springs, and some polishing.
Carry = leave stock. You'll never notice it.

Ray: I have heard of the "mushy" feeling some of them have after installation. I am concerned that is what will happen if I do instal these.
Wulf: Yes the sights will be replaced when I get them from Brownells. True the stock trigger isnt horrible and I can shoot fairly well it. Just wondering if its even worth the time/money for an "uprgrade"

I would like to start getting into the IDPA and IPSC competitions but at the same time it will be my primary carry gun of choice.
Stock for me.
BP Tactical can clean the stock trigger up for you or you can do it yourself. A few thousand rounds will smooth it out as well.
If it ain't broke...

Shoot some matches, see which direction competition takes you.
You will be thinking about alot of stuff after shooting a few matches.
That said, no reason to not have a good trigger that you like on any gun.

You don't need an upgraded trigger for IDPA in my opinion; especially if you're just starting. That said, I'm all about dropping coin on stuff you want just because you want it.
I just spent about $200 upgrading my M&P trigger to an Apex, and I doubt I'm shooting much better.
Good sights and some training & practice with it will do more good than any trigger. I still outshoot most people with stock triggers (and flip flops).

But they are combat flip flops right?

^^^ That's pretty much true. I was able to sneak 2nd place at one of the bowling pin matches recently with a completely stock G17 that I borrowed from a friend. I'd previously shot a Glock maybe 3 times total in my life; and two of those times were before I knew anything about shooting. I was pretty impressed with the stock trigger.

Of course. Doesn't everyone shoot in flip flops?!
