Its been a long time since i posted. I nearly forgot how ;-)
Part of that was a good thing. With all the support weve gotten through this website at Bowers Tactical, ive simply been too busy talking face to face or building guns to spend much time logged on.
And, for that, thank you all. Youve helped Mike and I build not just a business, but a home we both love.
The other part, of late, has not been quite as good. As many of you know i am a long time crohns patient. Recently my luck ran out, and surgical correction became necessary to keep me alive.
Things didnt go easily, and like a chau-chaut machine gun, didnt function correctly even when put back together the best they could be.
Two surgical revisions after the first surgery, and a erd planned had me down much longer than expected.
So long, in fact, that im writing you from my hospital bed, still trying to heal.. anythibg, at this point.
With help from Mike Bowers, my family, the rest of the Bowers Family, and so many of you, a successful campaign was done to raise the money for my mounting medical bills.
I am eternally greatful for the outpouring of compassion and generosity i have received, and hope that the services inprovide to you all reflect your unwavering commitment to us.
Of course, its not quite over.
Many have asked what more than can do to offer support in my time of need. And as friends, thats all I can ask of you. Your friendship.
So, if you want to do something a friend would do, then continue to bring your businezs, and your smiles and stories and laughs to Bowers Tactical in my absence.
Show support to Mike and Chris, and Mom and Sean and Zak, and keep it going strong.
Bowers Tactical is my Home. And without that home, I would not have made it through many dark nights.
So the greatest gift you can give is to continue to support us, so i know i have some place to go home to.
Thank you all again, and i look forward to seeing you on the bench or the range very soon
