Deputy Darren Goforth, 47, was pumping gas into his vehicle about 8:30 p.m. Friday when a man approached him from behind and fired multiple shots.
Has the media sunk so low as to misrepresent the killers description??

Oh, and I say this should be treated as a "hate crime" regardless of the suspects race/religion/ethnicity.
It's an act of desperate self preservation if you are being apprehended for a crime and shoot and killed an officer. It's a whole different thing to sneak up behind the guy while he's gassing up his car and shoot him in the back.

No, Black or African-American would have been correct. Thankfully he wasn't a "white racist" Imagine if the gunman when caught has NBPP items. Think there will be a call to remove them as symbol's of hate? [ROFL3]

I'm trying to imagine what a riot involving thousands of pissed off, well-armed, right-wing types would look like. My guess is Walgreens and shoe stores would be safe. Gov't buildings...not so much.

I used to live near where that Officer was shot an never felt unsafe I know the area like the back of my hand. Completely different world down there now.

Any hard info on how the killer obtained his firearm? Reports say he was a certified mental case back in 2012. Trying to figure out the point of the background check if it doesn't work. Or is this the first killer since the Columbine boys to score at a gun show? I'm guessing not since MSM is silent on where he got it.

MY question is. Why has this administration remained silent ?? The presidents silence (IMO) condones the war on LE.

Sheriff Clarke called out the POTUS and former AG Holder for inciting police hatred and challenged him to forgo his SS protection detail if he's so confident we don't need guns. Yea, kinda extreme considering the position, but he made his point.
