View Full Version : Starkist Lawsuit - $25 cash or $50 in tuna certs
If you've purchased Starkist tuna in the last 5-6 years or so, there's a class action lawsuit because they underfilled some of the cans, and it looks like you have the option to receive either $25 cash or $50 in tuna certificates. You do have to register on the website, but no proof is required - honor system only. Must file by Nov 20, 2015.

Wasn't that BumbleBee?
Yes, in 2012. But a supervisor just recently was sentenced. And I think bumblebee recently paid the civil lawsuit.

Thank you for the heads up OP. Just sumitted my claim my wife and daughter have eaten many many cases of starkist since 2009. We have a bunch of cans in the pantry now, wonder if they are short.
Last case of tuna I bought was CotS, but I'm sure we've consumed a fair amount of Starkist in the last few years. We actually still enjoy canned tuna in a variety of dishes. Throwback to childhood, I guess.
I'm on the fence, leaning to letting it go, but but momma will likely file.
