Anyone watching Narcos on Netflix? It's about Pablo Escobar and a DEA agent going after him. Seems like Breaking Bad, but closer to true.

I've got it bookmarked and am excited to watch it. Now if I can find some time. I've always been fascinated with drug cartels and "drug lords", and think being a DEA Agent would be pretty legit.

So is this based on Mark Bowden's Killing Pablo? I ask because at one time there was a movie version of the book in the works and I wonder if they just went the TV route instead (by the way the book is excellent ... same author as Black Hawk Down).

Amazon prime has a documentary, 'killing pablo' available. Made in 2006. Credits include Mark Bowden.

Just finished season 1...I'm hooked. Excellent acting, great characters and the story is really interesting.
