so while processing some brass to reload, I find about 200 cases that have a 2nd cup/rim inside. Normal?

Malformed during cupping or drawing process? They weigh 5 grains more than any other brass.

Thoughts? (i won't be using them due to reduced space/pressure issues I'm sure)

I have a bunch of those that I picked up from a recent match, and meant to come on here and ask. I know we've discussed them before, but I don't remember if people were using them as is, or trying to mill them out or something. Hopefully someone comes along with good info for us. Maybe it's just your picture, but the ridge in yours looks more significant than I remember.

That is how IMI brass looks, I am sure others make it the same way. Set them aside and work up a load for them!

FM brand right? One of the range masters was asking who was shooting that ammo, but no one fessed up.

Read this thread and decide for yourself. http://smith-wessonforum.com/reloading/288787-ammoload-headstamp-9x19-brass.html

Based on several posts, particularly the case separations experienced in an UZI, I'd pitch them or collect and sell as scrap.

Thank you for the link. Guess I'll toss it unless someone wants it.

Trash it. Not worth the trouble.

Checked through my mixed hs and found another case like this that wasn't FM or AMMLOAD. ZMI or ZM1. Hard to tell which. Must have been a range pickup.

I have about a half a gallon Ziploc of this stuff if anyone wants to try it to work up loads. Mostly FM, a few AMMOLOAD, and the one ZMwhatever. Pm if interested.
