I had never heard of this before, and I thought it was interesting enough to share. Not really any current useful application for any of us, but I think there is unlimited potential.

That looks very promising. I have some questions, but don't know enough about how the body works to know how to ask them.

AFAIK, it's still in the very early stages of development. They got approval for veterinary uses, which is a good step, but it could be several years before its approved for human use.
If I only have 3 minutes, that's not going to work for me.

Is anyone here a registered veterinarian? You can register on their site and buy some right now. No idea of price, but I speculate that its either surprisingly cheap because they need to get market interest, or its really expensive because they don't have other sources of funding.

Only takes 15 seconds to clot once it's applied. Unless you have an unusually complicated and unique circulatory system unlike any other human or animal... [Dunno]
I am as amazed by the people doing the work as the product. The future belongs to men and women younger than me. I have hope.
Be safe.

This hit the webs about 6 months ago. These are still very early in development and currently only designed for surgical type procedures. They are not yet close to working on severe arterial bleeding. That being said there are many groups working on the next gen of severe hemorrhage control, should be some cool Star Trek type stuff coming out in the the next several years.

Oh. Well in that case, try not to die, I guess.

Very cool, hopefully they can make a marketable product. Seems like it would save many lifes if it works.
