View Full Version : Recommend good firearm shops in Cheyenne Wy. ?

Might be up in Cheyenne this weekend and have never been there before. Can anyone recommend good shops to swing by while I am up there? Ones that would have a good selection of firearms and accessories.

There are a few places - Guns n Gear, Marv's place, or Lincoln way pawn had a good selection but most of the guns in Cheyenne are over prices. If you are .mil the BX on base has guns on hand.

Check out Frontier Firearms, 611 E Lincolnway 307-433-0807 Small shop, they have a lot of stuff in there, very nice people.
Guess that means The Clowns Den is out.

Forgot about that shop. Again, most guns are overpriced in cheyenne though, so make sure you know your prices and you can usually haggle with the used guns.

Thanks for the tips. I will check out the BX as well. Mostly looking for accessories unless I run across something used. Anything new my FFL here can get it much cheaper then any shop.

Frontier Arms IMO is a no go. Overpriced, and know it all staff. Rocky Mtn. Gun Trader is where Guns and Gear used to be. And Guns and Gear is owned by a FUDD, he's also pretty rude to new customers. Acts like he could care less whether you shop there or not.
Magazines are are plentiful though!

The only thing i can say about the green door is. make sure you wear lace style shoes. Any kind of slip on, like riding boots. They'll stick to the floor like a worn titty magazine at an adult book store. Or so i heard.

Call me. i don't drink. BUT the "ladies " love me. Their low life boyfriends, not so much.
The clowns den was great, years back. The 3 stage dancers my former co-workers paid for was worth the price of admission. Oh wait i didn't pay.

No, it goes to the liquor store drive through window. Or use to.
Somebody should call MagPul and see if they will open a factory outlet store in Cheyenne. I would make the trip often.

The best time to hit the den & door is later in the year. That's when the real talent really shines. It's also when the WSP & CSP don't feel like getting out of their cars, too cold.
