As long as it was consensual I don't see a problem.

Are you suggesting there's a practical alternative for every individual having to board a commercial airplane?
ETA: I'm only asking because my sister (who is very passionate about her work) has to board one every now and then for work and she'd write off flying as the work of the devil in a hot second. She also has to deal with these clowns against her own will.

I'd rather live in a refrigerator box under a bridge than work for TSA.
Surprise suprise, the schmuck I've mentioned in previous job work posts, the compulsive liar works for a secret security company and carried an AR at the first obama DNC? Fired or quit from Weld, bounced around. Found out hes now in TSA. So fitting.

"our inspectors are held to the highest standards" translation "don't stop at the knees"

I'm suggesting that most 18yo blond girls aren't terrorists. Bring back profiling.
I usually tip a dollar or two to the TSA person when they grope me. Figure it's the polite thing to do.
I flew with my CCW earlier this summer. I suspect that by following the rules and claiming it I signed up for an extra groping session. The guy took the cash from my pocket and inspected every last bill too.
Everything that's old is new again lol. Not to make light of this but the fact it was reported again at a different city makes one wonder how many times there hadn't been a complaint.
One time I got pulled aside for "additional screening" and asked if they were going to buy me dinner first. The guy laughed it off and it was a very pleasant prostate exam.
On a serious note, one time I was flying and they pulled me to the side and started wiping my bag with some weird wipe thing. I asked what they were doing and they said checking for explosive residue. I then realized that seeing as it was my work bag, it was totally possible that they would find Powder and C4 residue. I decided not to use that bag for carry on anymore...

Had a similar thing once. Had them wipe a backpack. Happened to be the same backpack I used to take to gun shows. Hauled plenty of ammo and gunpowder in that bag. Didn't test positive though. I was a bit nervous.
Random (yea right) spot check after the body scanner and my hands set off their detector. Got a nice little feel in a private room with TWO agents. Unfortunately the pretty blonde gal going through my bag did not join us in the room.
Honestly, while I loathe the TSA and the mostly useless job they do, they were both very professional about it and I realized I had been reloading/processing brass the day before and that could have set it off. The only close encounter was the high thigh pat down. I did ask for a kiss after.
I have had the wipe down for explosives several times, a few of which were right after shooting classes. I literally finished shooting a class, threw the guns in a case and headed to the airport. When they wiped the bags down I assured them there was powder residue not only all over the case and bag but probably my hands and person as well. I have no idea how, but it has yet to be a problem. Yeah TSA may not be our best and brightest, but I am certain that is a job I don't want.
Ron White says he takes a Viagra before going through security. "No sir, I have no idea what that is. Better pat it again. Maybe give it a twist or two. Now you may wanna go wash yore hands!"
I was flying from Denver to St. Louis to pick up a motorcycle. I had riding gear and a second pair of clothes along with a tank bag in my backpack. They pulled me aside after the X-ray and started ruffling through my back. They were confused about the motorcycle helmet at first, but then I explained the situation (Fly out ride back). They grabbed the tank bag and put it through the xray machine again. Evidently the magnets used to hold bag to tank look like components for a gun??? They all had a serious demeanor the whole time, but I was understandable since it's their job. Once they realized I wasn't a threat they let me on my way.
Sounds like several of us have learned about taking the shooting bag through security the hard way. Hopefully others here can learn from our mistakes.
I have gotten to the point where I just check a bag so I don't get hassled at the security checkpoints.
I do seem to always trip something in the naked x-ray machine though. They usually want to touch my knee or a shoulder or something when I come out.
Hmmm. I don't believe modern gun powders or residues to be screened for. They are looking for accellerants and nitrogen. Maybe a chemistry guy can put in his piece here.

Seems like the "orange junk" bio has spread. [ROFL2]

I went through last spring on the way to Florida. Something ticked on the machine around my right knee and the had to do a pat down around the knee. OK but I was wearing shorts and you could see my knee. Maybe the guy had a knee fetish.

I get a knee pat a lot due to frequent arthritis inflammation, but this is just ridiculous.
I managed to merit a strip search in their little stainless steel room at DFW, right down to nothing-but-socks on. When I asked why, they said "you are wearing excessively baggy pants which is typical of people smuggling things".

I'd have to have a close family member on their death bed that I was trying to get to, with no other options available to me, in order for me to submit to a strip search. Truth be told, I had no idea TSA was authorized to conduct strip searches. Good to know, that way I can prepare how I'm going to tactfully tell them to f$ck off if it ever comes to that.

It was probably like that guy in the OP's video. You were on his hottie list.
